Susan Podziba, from Boston, MA, is an internationally known mediator, and has a focus on mediating disputes over sacred lands and natural resources. She was in Hawaii to give a talk at UH School of Law, and while here, State Sen. Kai Kahele set up meetings for her with Lt. Gov. Josh Green, Mayor Harry Kim, the Mauna Kea Ki'ai Kupuna Protectors, and representatives from the Mauna Kea observatories.
