Several military vehicle convoys from Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae Harbor are scheduled to take place this week. This training is critical to ensure military units and service members are ready to accomplish their mission and return home safely.
Below is detailed information regarding this week’s convoys:
Wednesday, February 14 – 8 a.m. & 10 a.m. Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae
Thursday, February 15 – 8 a.m. & 9 a.m. Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae
Sunday, February 18 – 8 a.m. Pohakuloa Training Area to Kawaihae
Convoy leaders will continually assess conditions and conduct pull-over procedures on permissible straight-aways sections of the roadway to allow local residents the ability to bypass the convoy safely and reduce backed-up traffic.
