The National Weather Service has cancelled the Flood Warning for the Island of Hawaiʻi, however a flood advisory for the Island continues as conditions for flooding still exist.
Due to the flooding impacts and power outages, the Department of Water Supply reminds customers to practice water use conservation in North Kona to assure water is available for all households and businesses in the area. For those customers affected by the Waiakea Uka water outage a water tanker with spigots will stage at the Waiakea Uka gym for customers to fill containers of potable water.
Highway 11 in Ka`u near the 60 mile area in Kawa is closed due to flooding.
