The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch that will remain in effect through Monday, Aug 23. A flash flood watch means that conditions are favorable for flash flooding which can be life threatening. Residents are asked to not cross fast flowing water. Due to these hazards the following are issued:
- There are no closures at this time but be aware that beach and road closures may occur at any time.
- In the event of a lightning strike, safest place to be is indoors.
