AP) — A hearing is underway to determine whether there’s probable cause for charges against three Honolulu police officers in a shooting that killed a 16-year-old Micronesian boy. A Honolulu police evidence specialist says what looked like a real firearm was found in the car the teen was driving. Authorities say the stolen car was involved in a series of crimes and led officers on a chase. Prosecutors say one officer charged with murder fired 10 rounds through the rear window of the stopped car. It’s unclear when the judge will decide if there’s a reasonable basis for believing a crime may have been committed.
