The Boston Celtics have moved into the second round of the NBA playoffs after eliminating the Philadelphia 76ers in a 4-0 sweep on Sunday afternoon. Led by Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum, THE Celtics eliminated the Sixers 110-106.
The Celtics’ second-round opponent will most likely be the defending NBA champion Toronto Raptors, who took a 3-0 series lead over the Brooklyn Nets into Game 4 on Sunday night.
This is the first time there has been a sweep in a Celtics-76ers series. The Celtics, who ousted Philadelphia in five games two years ago, have seven sweeps in their history, including a first-round ouster of the Indiana Pacers last year.
