The State is seeing more visitors coming in, despite the mandatory 14-day quarantine and despite enhanced procedures to attempt to ensure everybody is adhering to the rules.
On Saturday, May 2, 33 visitors landed at Kona Airport on the sole Delta flight from Los Angeles. The flight also brought in 22 residents, 6 “intended residents” and 1 person in transit who would not be leaving the airport. The State’s total was 188 visitors, with 151 landing on O’ahu and 4 on Kaua’i.
