The number of passengers arriving in Hawaii by air continues to drop. Yesterday, 543 people arrived in Hawaii, and of that amount, 89 were visitors. Most of the passengers were returning residents.
A total of 32 people arrived at Kona Airport, 20 of whom were residents, 2 intended new residents, and 2 visitors.
In comparison, during this same time last year, nearly 30,000 passengers arrived in Hawaii daily, including residents and visitors.
