Hawai‘i Island police are asking for public assistance in locating 18-year-old Lipomala’e Kahai-Burgess of Pāhoa, who was reported missing yesterday.

Kahai-Burgess, who is described as Hawaiian with a light brown complexion, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 130 pounds, with short, straight brown hair and blue eyes, was last seen near Hibiscus Drive in Pāhoa earlyWednesday evening.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call HPD’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
