For the 34th year, many of the top collegiate golfers in the country will ascend to the west side of the Big Island for the three-day Amer Ari Intercollegiate on Feb. 7-9 at the Mauna Lani Resort Golf Club.
This year’s field features six of the last eight NCAA Division I Champions, including last year’s champ Auburn. Nine teams enter the spring season most recently ranked inside the top 25 at the end of last November by Scoreboard powered by clippd.

On the individual side, 24 of the latest top-100 ranked golfers will be looking to add their names among some of the very best to ever play the sport — No. 1 Daniel Bennett (Texas), No. 2 David Ford (North Carolina), No. 3 Josele Ballester (Arizona State), No. 6 Christiaan Maas (Texas), No. 7 Tommy Morrison (Texas) and No. 10 Connor Williams (Arizona State) along with reigning individual NCAA champ No. 97 Hiroshi Tai (Georgia Tech).
Last year’s event was rated the No. 4 men’s collegiate amateur event in all of 2024 by the World Amateur Golf Ranking. North Carolina took the team crown at minus-68 while ASU’s Wenyi Ding had a historic performance shooting 27-under at 189 (63–64–62)
