The Detroit Tigers earned a 3-0 win in Game 3 of their best-of-five American League Division Series against the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday, giving Detroit the 2-1 series lead.
Riley Greene and Spencer Torkelson each drove in a run, and six pitchers combined to earn the Tigers the victory. Per AP News, Cleveland has gone 20 straight innings without scoring since opening the series with a five-run first and a two-run sixth in its 7-0 win.
Cleveland and Detroit will face-off in Game 4 on Thursday, Oct. 10 in Detroit.

The New York Yankees are one win away from advancing to the American League Championship Series after defeating the Kansas City Royals 3-2 in Game 3 of the ALDS on Wednesday night in Kansas City.
Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton gave New York the 3-2 lead after an eight-inning blast, holding off a late inning rally from the Royals who eventually went down in order in the bottom of the ninth.
Game 4 of the Yankees and Royals series will be played Thursday, Oct. 10 in Kansas City.
