Dr. Aaron J. Salā will join the Hawai‘i Visitors & Convention Bureau as its new President and CEO, effective September 1.
Salā most recently championed the 13th Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture in June and served as the cultural creative producer for ‘Auana, Hawai‘i’s upcoming Cirque du Soleil residency.
He has worked as a music director and arranger for several Disney projects, including Aulani and the production of Moana in ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i. He also served as the director of cultural affairs at Royal Hawaiian Center at Helumoa.
Aaron served on the HTA Board of Directors from 2011 to 2015 including a stint as Board Chair.
