Yesterday, the Department of Health’s Food Safety Branch has gave the L&L Drive Inn in Captain Cook, a green placard and approval to reopen.
The food establishment, operated by owner Tai Zhun Chen, had received a red placard on Aug. 2 and was immediately closed for multiple violations including; live roaches throughout the kitchen, on food and on contact surfaces, no running water or hand washing sink and liquid rising from floor tiles that smelled of wastewater.
After conducting a follow-up inspection, the Department of Health found all violations had been resolved.
