Costco announced it will be raising its annual membership fees.

The increase will go into effect in the U.S. and Canada on September 1.  The new annual fees will increase by $5 to $65 for “gold star” and business members and to $130 from the earlier $120 for executive members.

The last time Costco increased membership fees was in 2017.
