Hawai’i Island police are renewing their request for public information regarding 75-year-old Glynda Evangelista of Hilo who has not been seen or heard from since April of 2017.
Due to Evangelista’s age and a medical condition requiring medication, she is considered an endangered missing person. Her family continues to seek answers in the case.
At the time of the initial report, Evangelista was described as being 5-feet-4-inches tall, approximately 200 pounds, medium build with short salt-and-pepper hair, hazel colored eyes, with a fair complexion, and wears prescription glasses. She was last seen wearing a dark jacket and orange and yellow colored floral dress, carrying a blue backpack while in Hilo on April 24, 2017.
