An inter-agency warrant sweep recently conducted by officers from the Hawai‘i County Police Department’s Community Policing Section and Special Enforcement Unit, the Department of Public Safety Sheriff Division, and the Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement in the Hilo and Puna districts resulted in the arrest of 18 wanted individuals for a total of 28 outstanding warrants.
The individuals were arrested for offenses ranging from contempt of court, probation violation, probation no bail, and failure to appear.
The 14 men and 4 women arrested include:

- Joshua Sorce; DAG violation, Contempt of Court,
- Tihani Liwai; Contempt of Court,
- Christian Santos; Violate RBL,
- Ian Travis; Fail to Appear,
- Christopher Mahan; Contempt of Court,
- Aubrey Badon-Baba; Contempt of Court,
- Don Hiilei; Fail to Appear,
- Alfred Keahilani; Contempt of Court, Theft in the first degree, Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle,
- Jardin Tavares; Contempt of Court, Violate RBL (X2), Discharge of Sureties,
- Jude Quirantes; Probation No Bail, (X4),
- Katelyn Fitzgerald; Contempt Court,
