Hawai‘i Island police are renewing their request for information regarding the July 2021 murder of 76-year-old Michael Rosenbaum of Pāhoa.
On July 31, 2021, local fishermen found Rosenbaum’s body below the sea cliffs at MacKenzie State Recreation Area. An autopsy later concluded that Rosenbaum, who was reportedly last seen alive in Påhoa town on July 22, 2021, died from a gunshot wound.jeremy.kubojiri@hawaiicounty.gov.
Detectives with the Area I Criminal Investigation Section are continuing the investigation which is classified as second-degree murder.
