The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association announced the 2022-23 recipients of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards which included 65 UH Hilo student-athletes who received honors for finishing the school year with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
In its 16th year, the Academic Achievement Awards recognized a record-breaking 19,646 total student-athletes from 196 institutions across the NCAA’s Division II.
To be eligible, student-athletes must have completed at least two years of college-level courses and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during the last academic year.
