The Hawaiʻi County Mass Transit Agency announced a “Meet the Bus” event on July 11th.
The event, which takes place from 9:30am-11:30am at a public parking lot located at 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway in Kailua-Kona, will give the public the opportunity to engage with the agency, explore this alternatively fueled bus, and learn about the latest developments in public transportation and allow attendees to interact with agency representatives and gain insights into plans for improving the public transit system.
In a press release, Mass Transit Administrator Victor Kandle said, “We are thrilled to invite the public to join us for this special ‘Meet the Bus’ event. This gathering will allow us to engage directly with the community, address their concerns, and showcase our progress in improving our transportation services. We encourage everyone to attend and be part of shaping the future of public transit in Hawaiʻi County.”
Further details regarding the specific location and agenda will be provided in the forthcoming public service announcement (PSA).
