Downtown Hilo Road Closures In Effect During Pride Parade

On Saturday, June 24, downtown Hilo road closures will be in effect during the annual LGBTQ+ Pride Parade.

The roads used for the parade route will close at 10:45 a.m. and reopen at Noon.
 
The parade route will start at the makai soccer field parking lot closest to the Mo‘oheau bus terminal, turn right onto Kamehameha Avenue, then left onto Haili Street, left onto Kino‘ole Street, and left onto Ponahawai Street, continuing down to Kamehameha Avenue, where the route will turn right and continue back to makai soccer field parking lot.
 
Additionally, all parking stalls along both sides of Haili Street will be closed from Kamehameha Avenue to Kino‘ole Street, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
