The Kona Community Policing Section and Aloha Maps are currently holding a Hydro flask drive for schools and students in need.  New hydro flasks or refillable water bottles may be dropped off at the Kealakehe Police Station in Kona.  They will then be distributed to in need schools and students.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many schools added water filling stations to prevent students from sharing the older style water drinking fountains, thus limiting the possibility of exposure.  Due to this change, many schools have added water bottles/”hydro” flasks to their school supply lists, which can be costly and not feasible for many families on a budget.

Donated items may be dropped off now through the end of November.
