Hawaiʻi defeated Tennessee 13-0 in a mercy rule victory at the Little League World Series. They now advance to the United States Championship.
During the game the team garnered 13 hits, and five home runs.
Pitcher Jonnovyn Sniffen gave up two hits and a walk with three strikeouts in two innings to get the win, while Luke Hiromoto threw two perfect innings to close out the game.
The U.S. finals, which will be televised on ESPN, will take place this Saturday, August 27. First pitch is set for 9:30 a.m. HST.
