(AP) — A grand jury has indicted a Hawaiʻi couple for the murder of their 6-year-old adopted daughter. Police believe Isabella Kalua was killed about a month before her adoptive parents Isaac and Lehua Kalua reported her missing. The body of the girl, who some refer to by her birth name Ariel, has not been found. Court documents say Isabella’s sister saw her in a dog cage, with duct tape over her mouth and nose and not breathing. Attorneys for the Kaluas didn’t immediately return messages seeking comment. They are being held without bail.
