Hawai‘i Island police have charged 30-year-old Devin Saragosa-Taoy of Puna, for multiple warrants and in connection with various property crime investigations.
On Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, officers from the Puna Community Policing Section and Puna Patrol located Devin Saragosa-Taoy at a residence in Hawaiian Paradise Park. He was wanted for three arrest warrants, and wanted in connection with various property crimes that occurred in the Hawaiian Paradise Park area in September 2021.
Later that same day, after conferring with the County Prosecutors Office, Saragosa-Taoy was charged for burglary in the first degree, criminal trespass in the second degree, and two counts of habitual property crimes. He was also charged for his three arrest warrants, bringing his total bail to $52,000.
Saragosa-Taoy’s initial court appearance was on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021.
