(AP) — Hawaiian Airlines says a passenger assaulted one of its flight attendants in an unprovoked attack during a flight. The airline says the incident occurred shortly after flight HA152 left Honolulu for Hilo at 7:30 a.m. Thursday. The flight attendant was walking down the aisle at the time. The airline says the pilot returned the plane to Honolulu. Deputy sheriffs arrested a 32-year-old male passenger for third-degree assault. Hawaiian Airlines spokesperson Alex Da Silva says the flight attendant was evaluated for injuries and released from work to rest. The flight took off again for Hilo at 9:09 a.m.
