Beginning Monday May 24, 2021 through Thursday, May 27, 2021, Hawaiian Electric will conduct quarterly island-wide aerial inspections of its major overhead transmission lines to improve system reliability.

Inspections will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Exact times and routes will depend on weather conditions. The inspections will be conducted in a Manuiwa Airways helicopter and require the aircraft to fly low and slow which may cause noise.
