The County of Hawai‘i Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division has announced the temporary closure of the  Waiea Transfer Station beginning Monday, May 17, 2021 through Thursday, May 20, 2021.

Residents may take their household generated waste to the Keauhou Transfer Station which is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
