(AP) — Honolulu police have released the 911 call a frightened woman made about a stranger in her home, which led to officers shooting and killing him. She tells the dispatcher she doesn’t know him. The dispatcher asks her several times about his ethnicity before she says he’s Black. It sounds like she’s crying through much of the call. Police say Lindani Myeni walked into a Honolulu home, sat down and took off his shoes. Police say an officer ordered him to the ground but he assaulted an officer and stun gun had no effect. Myeni’s wife has filed a wrongful death lawsuit saying police were motivated by racial discrimination.
