Chanelle Molina, a graduate of Konawaena High School, has signed a training camp contract with WNBA team, The Indiana Fever. The terms of Molinaʻs contract were not disclosed due to team policy.
According to a statement on the Inidana Feverʻs website, Molina was undrafted in 2020 following a four-year career at Washington State. The 5-foot-9 guard started 95 of 107 games played, including every game during her senior season, for the Cougars.
“Chanelle recorded an excellent career at Washington State in the very challenging Pac-12 Conference. She is a skilled and versatile guard who will bring high energy and competitiveness to our training camp,” Head Coach Marianne Stanley said. “She is having a great year overseas in Sweden this season because of how she has continued to improve.”
As a prep star, Molina was listed as a five-star recruit by ESPN.com, the No. 36 overall recruit and the 11th-best guard in the 2016 class.
