On Friday, The Hawaiʻi Department of Health released new information regarding statewide COVID-19 vaccine distribution.
The State has received 91,700 vaccine doses including; 54,600 from Pfizer-BioNTech and 37,100 from Moderna.
Over 35,000 vaccinations have been administered statewide
Pharmacists continue to administer the vaccine to thousands of long-term care residents and employees, with first-dose vaccinations being completed at 22 of these facilities.
Independent licensed healthcare professionals and staff who are part of Phase 1a continue to be vaccinated at area hospitals.
Details on how people age 75 and older can register for vaccinations can be expected as soon as next week.
Locations and opening dates of large Points of Dispensing (POD) will be announced soon.
