The need for food has grown on the Big Island as the pandemic continues.
Hawaii Island Food Basket is continuing its food distribution program.
On Wednesday, Hawaii Food Basket will distribute food at Afook Chinen Auditorium in Hilo, starting at 10 a.m.
On Friday, they will distribute food at Waikoloa’s Kamakoa Nui Skate Park, starting at 10 a.m.
Below is the schedule for the rest of November:

Pahoa | Pahoa Community Center | Friday, November 20 | 10am
Honokaa | Honokaa Sports Complex and Skate Park | Wednesday, November 25 | 10am
In addition, there is food distribution Monday through Friday at La’iOpua 2020:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, La’iOpua 2020 above Kealakehe High School has a hot meal, one for every person in the car, starting at 5 p.m.
Tuesdays, the organization gives out produce.
Thursdays, La’iOpua 2020 gives out a “make your own meal” package, with ingredients for a meal for 6 to 8 people to prepare at home.
