The State Department of Health reports 91 new cases of COVID-19 in the state, bringing the state’s total to 14,156, with approximately 2,817 active cases.
The State is confirming 189 cases, which includes only 18 of Hawaii County’s 40 known deaths. There have been 2 deaths in Kona, and 38 in Hilo.
Today’s new cases include 61 on O’ahu, 4 in Hawaii residents out of state (that would include, for example, college students), and 2 people in Maui County.
The Big Island has added 24 new cases, according to the State report. The island has 1,083 cumulative cases, with approximately 247 active cases (cumulative – released – actual deaths).
