According to the Dashboard, the reported worldwide case report increased by 358,208 in the last 24 hours. Deaths worldwide increased by 4,924.
According to the Johns Hopkins Dashboard, the United States has added 64,264 cases in the last 24 hours. In that time, the number of reported deaths from COVID-19 increased by 573.
Several countries are seeing increases in COVID-19 cases. The United Kingdom recorded 241 new coronavirus deaths on Tuesday — more than three times the 80 deaths reported on Monday — according to the government’s website.
On Tuesday another 21,331 cases were reported in the UK, which has a population of nearly 67 million.

The UK has put several cities on “high”alert level for COVID-19, and is requiring incoming travelers from several European countries to self-isolate for 2 weeks upon arrival.
