The State Department of Health reports 98 new cases statewide. The total cases in the state: 12,116 with 1,829 active cases. The state confirmed one additional death today on O’ahu, for a total of 132. Only 15 of the Big Island’s 28 deaths are included in that total.
Neither Kaua’i nor Maui County have any new cases today. O’ahu has 91 new cases, and the Big Island 7.
The Big Island’s total cases: 700, with 584 “released from isolation” and 28 deaths. There are 88 active cases on the island.
As of Saturday afternoon, there were 15 people with COVID-19 in Hilo Medical Center, and 2 at Kona Community Hospital, with one of those on a ventilator, according to official hospital spokespeople. North Hawaii Community Hospital reported no patients with COVID-19.
