IRONMAN today announced that, due to the continued impact of the COVID-19 global pandemic, it will cancel the Ironman 2020 Championship, which had already been postponed from October, 2020, to February 6, 2021.
The next IRONMAN® World Championship will be October 9, 2021, in Kailua-Kona.
IRONMAN previously announced it was moving the Ironman 70.3 (a half-Ironman) normally held in Kailua-Kona, which had been scheduled for August 15, 2020 to November 21, 2020, the Saturday before Thanksgiving. IRONMAN has made no new announcement about the 70.3.
