The state has 20 new cases of COVID-19, which includes 3 new for Hawaii Island, and 17 new for O’ahu. The state has had a cumulative 946 cases, with 746 released from isolation, so a total of 200 active cases.
At this point, State Department of Health says Hawaii Island’s total cases number 90, with 4 active. Hawaii County Civil Defense says one person on Hawaii Island is currently hospitalized.
The State DOH has not yet released information about the new cases, but the Honolulu Star-Advertiser is reporting that 7 Hawaiian Airlines employees have now tested positive for the virus.
