Friday afternoon, Hilo Palace Theater is offering a free livestreamed discussion and song sharing, which will look at some of today’s big issues. Singer-songwriter Drew Daniels, a singer/songwriter who lost his home and land in the 2018 Kilauea eruption, and Trill LeBeau, who is the frontman and songwriter for Cosmic Serenity and based in Hawaii and Portland, will sing and talk.
Daniels and LeBeau will talk about police brutality, Black Lives Matter, COVID-19, and how we can collectively navigate forward. They’ll also sing some of their songs that fit with the conversation.
The event will livestream on Friday at 1 p.m. HST, via Facebook Live.
