The number of people flying into Hawai — including visitors — continues to increase. On Saturday, 1,117 people flew in, including 384 visitors (37 into Kona) and 115 who claimed they were intending to relocate to Hawaii (1 into Kona).
Everybody, whether resident or visitor or anybody else is subject to the mandatory 14-day self-quarantine. For those people who are coming in to perform essential services–for example, healthcare workers–they are allowed to leave their lodging to perform the work, but otherwise are still subject to the quarantine.
Following is information from Hawaii Tourism Authority, for passengers coming in by air from out of state.
