Hawaii State Department of Health reports one new case of COVID-19 confirmed on Maui for today’s noon report. That brings the State’s total to 607, with 493 released from isolation. The Big Island is holding at 70 cases, with 49 people released from isolation.
The case on Maui is an employee at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Today’s report also brings the number of deaths up to 16, adding two. One was a woman over 65, on O’ahu, said to have underlying health conditions, and one man passed away Sunday night. He was over 65 with underlying health conditions.
Today’s statewide total includes 396 cases on Oahu, 113 in Maui County, 70 on Hawaii island, and 21 in Kauai County, according to health officials.
