Hawaii Tourism Authority reports that 4 visitors landed at Kona Airport Saturday on the sole Delta flight from Los Angeles that comes in four times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays). Statewide, 135 visitors arrived–3 to Kaua’i and 128 to O’ahu. There were no out-of-state flights into Maui.
The flight also included 14 residents, 1 intended resident, 1 “in transit” passenger who won’t be leaving the airport, and 4 crew members.
All people arriving on both out-of-state and interisland flights are required to quarantine for 14 days, with some exceptions. On Friday, the State Department of Transportation strengthened the rules regarding incoming passengers. They will have to provide a cell phone contact number, the specific address of where they are staying, and sign a form acknowledging the criminal penalties if they do not comply.
Below are statistics for out-of-state flights which arrived Saturday to the state. This does not include interisland flights.
