The Hawaii State Department of Health’s COVID-19 report for noon on Monday, April 20, shows that the state has had 4 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the past 24 hours.  Two of those are on Hawaii Island.  Two are in Maui County.  Neither O’ahu nor Kaua’i had new cases.

The Big Island now has 64 confirmed cases of COVID-19.  State Department of Health says 38 have been released from isolation and quarantine.

So far, there have been 385 cases on Oahu, 108 in Maui County, 64 on Hawaii island, and 21 in Kauai County.   Of the total of 584 cases in the state, 423 have recovered and been released from isolation.  Ten people have died, 6 on O’ahu and 4 on Maui.

The State DOH should release additional information later today.

In a Monday morning video discussion hosted by the Star-Advertiser, Ige said later this week, he is likely going to announce a continuation of the state’s “stay at home” order.
