The Johns Hopkins COVID-19 Dashboard for Tuesday morning, April 7 says the U.S. now has 369,069 reported cases of COVID-19. Worldwide, 184 countries and regions are reporting 1,365,004 cases. Spain has just over 140,00 cases and Italy just over 132,000 cases.
Deaths worldwide are reported at 76,507. The U.S. reports 11,018 deaths.
New York continues at the top of the list with 68,776 reported cases and 2,738 deaths. But cases and deaths continue to grow in hotspots like New Orleans and Detroit.
On Monday, the Hawaii State Department of Health reported 387 cases of COVID-19 with 5 deaths. The Big Island has 23 cases, and no deaths. The complete Hawaii State Department of Health report is updated daily at noon.
