Kaua’i Mayor Derek Kawakami has published a video on Facebook showing how to make a simple, no-sew mask that can be used when we go out, to help keep our germs to ourselves (and protect a bit against the germs of others). Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell, in wake of the second death from COVID-19, has urged residents to wear a mask whenever they leave home. There are insufficient surgical and N95 masks for health providers, so Mayor Caldwell suggested simple cloth masks. This video should put a bright spot in your day, and give some really practical advice. Thanks, Mayor Kawakami!
