The Johns Hopkins COVID-19 Dashboard on Tuesday morning, Mar. 31, at 6:30 a.m. HST shows that around the world, there are 826,222 cases of COVID-19 that have been confirmed, with 40,708 deaths and 174,115 known to have recovered.
The United States has 174,467 cases, with 3,416 known deaths and 6,000 known to have recovered. Italy is second, with 105,792 cases and 12,428 deaths. Spain has 94,417 active cases with 8,269 deaths.
In Hawaii, the Department of Health report as of noon on Monday indicated 204 cases, with no deaths attributed to COVID-19. The DOH lists Hawaii Island with 15 cases. The Tuesday morning Hawaii County Civil Defense message says Hawaii Island now has 17 cases.
