US approaching 150K cases, global 755K

The United States is now approaching 150,000 COVID-19 cases, with 2,599 deaths, according to the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 Dashboard.

Globally, there are 755,591 cases.  The United States leads with 148,089.   Italy is listed with 101,739.  Spain is listed as third with  85,195.

This information is as of 7 a.m. on Mon., Mar. 30 and is updated interactively as the data comes in.

The State Department of Health reports that as of Sunday, Mar. 29 at noon, there are 175 cases in the state, with Hawaii County listed at 12.  This morning, Mar. 30, the Hawaii County Civil Defense website says Hawaii County now has 16, 11 of which are active, 5 of which are recovered.
