The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has canceled the  Tsunami Watch for Hawaii  . A watch was issued for Hawaii at 4:59pm HST following a 7.5 earthquake east of the Kuril Islands, Russia.

Based on available data, there is no Tsunami threat to the Island or and State of Hawaii.
